About Parklands Leisure
The Company began marketing and distributing holiday homes in 1994 from a landscaped purpose designed show centre at Wells-next-the-sea in North Norfolk.
Early success and a need for an additional centre to care for the Essex and Suffolk area saw the opening of a further showground at Clacton-on-sea in June 1995. This outlet has since been re-located to West Mersea to cope with expanded demand.
Parklands determination to display the products in a highly professional and customer friendly environment has paid dividends, with most sales resulting directly from the Wells and Mersea show centres.
Very considerable care has been taken in the design and layout of the show centres. The object has been to create a pleasing environment free from high pressure sales tactics, where customers can browse and view our caravans in peace and comfort.
It's Down to Experience.
The real strength of any business is with people, there is no substitute for experience and that's where Parklands score heavily. General Manager Mike Knowles and his wife Cheryl, who are based at Wells, have some 54 years of caravan industry service between them.
Our Mersea operation, ably managed by Kylie Sheppard, has been distributing holiday homes in Essex for over 20 years.
Today, Parklands distributes Holiday Caravans to more than 80 selected Parks stretching from Heacham on the West Norfolk coast, right down through Suffolk to Canvey Island in Essex.
From the Wells Centre, units from ABI, ARRONBROOK, ATLAS, BK BLUEBIRD, CARNABY, PEMBERTON, SWIFT and WILLERBY are on offer. We usually have in excess of thirty models on display.
ABI, ATLAS, BK BLUEBIRD, CARNABY, SWIFT and WILLERBY units are on display at our Mersea Centre.
